Ed Riley - Operations Director
Ed Riley has over twenty-eight years of oilfield and business management experience, with more than eighteen years in senior project and corporate roles. His project experience ranges from pipelines to refineries, from fixed and floating production platforms to FPSO's. He has acquired an extensive knowledge of high-performance directional drilling, well-completion technology and well operations, as well as downstream engineering, procurement, construction, hook-up and commissioning of on- and off-shore installations. This has given him a profound understanding of the operational challenges to be managed in the development and exploitation of crude oil and gas reserves.
In corporate roles he has managed programmes for the design, development and implementation of complex systems, on both domestic and international scales. His experience has included extended periods in Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.
He is qualified in systems analysis and design and has gained extensive knowledge of business performance requirements in the Energy Industry (in particular the need for operational integrity, technical and regulatory compliance, and quality / environmental assurance systems).
In 1997, a committed interest in the management of change led him to complete a Master of Science degree in Management (Organisational Development) at Salford University, UK.
Ed Riley speaks English (mother tongue), is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, and has a working knowledge of French.
